2014 Festival of Lights - One Last Time

This year marks the 23rd and final year for the Festival of Lights at Blue Spruce Park. The festival began in 1992 with just a few displays and lighting in only one area of the park. The festival has been greatly enlarged and expanded over the years.

Since 1992 our park system has grown from four parks to fourteen sites. We have reached the point where we can no longer devote four months to one event, while realistically hoping to offer a quality park system throughout the remainder of the year with our current budget and staffing levels.

The Festival of Lights at Blue Spruce Park is an event that to us always meant much more than just holiday lights. The friendships we established with our volunteers and visitors these many years is something we will always remember.

So if you have never been to the festival, or have not been here for many years this year will be your last opportunity to see the display.

As you travel the park one last time to view the lights we hope that you, too, will have enjoyable memories of your time spent here.
