Supports Hoodlebug Trail Beautification Project

While passing through the Homer City area visitors to the Hoodlebug Trail will notice a large landscape area recently added to the trail. This landscape beautification project was funded with a generous donation from Sheetz, Inc.

Installation of the landscaping was performed last fall by a crew of youth workers employed by the Tri-County Private Industry Council, Career Track program.

The area was cleared of brush, mulched and planted with 750 daffodils This coming year additional plantings will be included to provide color throughout the summer and fall seasons.

Sheetz also provides a paved pathway from the store to the trail and picnic seating outside for trail users who would like to stop for a break while using the trail. Our thanks to Sheetz, Inc. and the youth crew workers who helped beautify the Hoodlebug Trail!
